Shared Repairs

Shared Repairs is a Dundee City Council scheme where a number of tenants (such as in a tenement) pool together to collectively get repairs made to their building. By selecting 'Yes', you are stating that you are willing to be considered for shared repair contracts. Your business details and contact email address will be made available to the shared repairs scheme. You can opt out of the scheme at any time by emailing trusted.trader@dundeecity.gov.uk.

Do you hold any licences or registrations, such as a Second Hand Dealer’s licences or waste carriers registrations (https://www.sepa.org.uk/regulations/waste/waste-carriers-and-brokers/) ?

Are you a member of any Trade Associations? eg Gas Safe/NICEIC/SELECT/SNIPEF

Section D

The Trusted Trader team will contact you to get copies of customer facing documentation eg quotations/invoices/T&Cs should you meet the application criteria.

Section E

Once your application has been received the Trusted Trader team will contact you by email to get a list of 20 of your previous customers so feedback on your service can be gathered should you meet the application criteria.

Before submitting your application, please ensure that you have read and understood the Dundee City Council Privacy statement, and the terms and conditions of scheme membership.

Data Protection

The information provided by you will be held by Dundee City Council, Trading Standards and will be used to assist with the operation of the “Trusted Trader Scheme” and for the administration of the Acts enforced by Trading Standards in accordance with our notification under the Data Protection Act 1998. In terms of the Data Protection Act 1998, you are entitled to know what personal information Dundee City Council hold about you.
